Game 2 - DAY 3

[ After ousting finishes, the bodies of Hans, Gina, York, and Bruce slowly turn into glass, starting from their feet and it works its way up until the glass covers the bodies. A few seconds after looking like a diamond statue, the glass shatters, leaving nothing but the broken pieces on the floor.

THERE CERTAINLY WERE HUMAN BODIES THERE EARLIER. WELL? NOT ANYMORE…!

Right after that, everyone will receive a text saying:

Congratulations on making it to the third day! Please get some rest now, as the game will continue tomorrow.
Had there been no wolf ousted the past two days, you all will be in grave danger as one more mistake would mean the wolves win. Oh no! :(
The poll has been updated. Please make sure to cast your votes on time.
Please remember that the game will be over once the number of remaining sheep is the same as the number of total wolves. That is three!

The twelve mirrors backstage will look pretty strange, too. Four of those mirrors have been broken as well, with only eight mirrors hung properly. If this isn't symbolic, then I don't know what is. Perhaps it would be best to clean the glass shards up. We wouldn't want anybody to get injured, right? And it would be best to get a lot of rest.

The loudspeakers seem to have been turned off now, and even the noise you could hear in the locked dressing room is gone… mysterious. But it's also helpful since you'd want to sleep peacefully at night, right?

Of course you do. Come morning, the stage will have Samurai Dogs YET AGAIN, coffee, Cheerios and milk. Have at it. ]

[Jesse is not looking at his phone. Jesse is not looking at the mirrors. Jesse is not paying attention to the sudden lack of noise, because Jesse is too busy staring in horror at the glass shards that used to be four people.]

What... what the...

[Oh look someone else is staring at what used to be people.

And he feels doubly-ill because that almost was him and Lucina.]

That...that didn't happen before, did it?

What the fuck happened to no one getting killed!?

[He's definitely losing his cool now. He starts to pace a bit as he runs a hand through his hair.]

Just- what changed? Was it different because they were wolves?

[He shakes his head, bewildered and distraught.]

I mean-- no way was Banner one of them. He-- he didn't know anything about the place, asked me all kinds of questions about it. He didn't... he wasn't... he was innocent.

They killed him.

Well no, not them, but the other team! Or...Or was this because the door was shot?

[Yipes. He swallows.]

It'd be me and Cabanela.

[He knows that logically Jesse and Cabanela should be the targets of such a thing, since Cabanela shot the bullet. But that is not what Luca is thinking about.]

Well, the wolves choose who dies, right? So whoever they choose would take the punishment, logically.

What are you talking about, dude? Jesus, it doesn't even matter, anyway. The prince dude and Linetti, that one's on us. I know I sure as hell didn't vote over the dumb door thing.

[ This isn't Asuna's first time seeing someone get killed before her very eyes. But she had believed that the killing game would have been her last. Boy, was she wrong. She is completely aghast right now.

She looks at the people, and then at Jesse. And then at the people yet again. Her stomach twists uncomfortably and she looks like she's going to feel sick, but instead opts for clenching her teeth, trying her best not to panic. ]

This... It's not real, is it? It's just-- some illusion. This isn't supposed to be possible. People don't just turn into glass.

[It's not Jesse's first, either, but he'd been starting to believe. They'd just disappeared the first night. It was still believable that they'd just been taken off somewhere, right? A little bit?

If it was then, maybe it still is now. He swallows back bile.]

Yeah. Yeah, maybe. Like-- with mirrors and all. Smoke and mirrors.

Yeah, it's-- probably the work of some magician. Or something like that.

[Or the fourteen of them conspired to kill four people. He groans and rubs the back of his neck.]

Glass shards that used to be people?? I... I don't think any forensics expert in the world would be prepared to deal with this!

[Jesse has seen a lot of terrible things. He's seen people killed in front of him -- he pulled the trigger on two of them. He's seen what happens to a human body in acid.

But staring at the shards that used to be their fellow players... maybe it's not worse, but maybe it is. They're so impersonal. At least Emilio had still had human parts. This is just... nothing.]
