Game 2 - DAY 3

[ After ousting finishes, the bodies of Hans, Gina, York, and Bruce slowly turn into glass, starting from their feet and it works its way up until the glass covers the bodies. A few seconds after looking like a diamond statue, the glass shatters, leaving nothing but the broken pieces on the floor.

THERE CERTAINLY WERE HUMAN BODIES THERE EARLIER. WELL? NOT ANYMORE…!

Right after that, everyone will receive a text saying:

Congratulations on making it to the third day! Please get some rest now, as the game will continue tomorrow.
Had there been no wolf ousted the past two days, you all will be in grave danger as one more mistake would mean the wolves win. Oh no! :(
The poll has been updated. Please make sure to cast your votes on time.
Please remember that the game will be over once the number of remaining sheep is the same as the number of total wolves. That is three!

The twelve mirrors backstage will look pretty strange, too. Four of those mirrors have been broken as well, with only eight mirrors hung properly. If this isn't symbolic, then I don't know what is. Perhaps it would be best to clean the glass shards up. We wouldn't want anybody to get injured, right? And it would be best to get a lot of rest.

The loudspeakers seem to have been turned off now, and even the noise you could hear in the locked dressing room is gone… mysterious. But it's also helpful since you'd want to sleep peacefully at night, right?

Of course you do. Come morning, the stage will have Samurai Dogs YET AGAIN, coffee, Cheerios and milk. Have at it. ]

Wolves are working together, but they're not going to be switching testimony with any sheep. If... for example, six teams say their suspicion vote was cast for Mr. Lockhart and Mr. Springfield, when in fact only five have... well, that will give us reason to pay extra attention to those six teams! It would also raise the question of why someone would hide their real vote by claiming it was for that team in particular.

[He has another point to raise, too... now he takes out his phone. It's safe to assume everyone got the same text message, but he holds it up to show it to her anyway.]

This message suggested that we could only make up to two mistakes. Going with the assumption that only one wolf was caught so far, meaning we've made one mistake... I believe that after tonight's ousting, we'll learn in the morning if that choice was wrong or right; if we've made our second mistake or not.

I think we should also consider motivation, to be honest. Before tosay, none of the sheep knew the dire consequences of what happens to those voted out, so we had no real way of knowing just how much danger we were in. The wolves may have known ahead of time, and may have played more seriously from the start. That would certainly explain why Hans would be so quick to vote the first day, especially if Lockhart's team is a wolf team as well. Protecting allies and such.

Likewise we should look at who isn't getting as much attention. I do not know who knows who here, but I would think that if a wolf was a good friend of a sheep, they would try to protect that sheep.

Do you think it's possible that one of us might know another person here before the game even started, then?

It's possible, is it not? It is a question worth asking everyone, at least.

That's true. In my case, I don't recognize anyone I know here. A lot of the people here have been rambling about things that clearly don't exist, like magic and time travel. . .

Well, magic does exist in my world. Though I suppose 'magic' is not an accurate description, it is more of a science...

As for time travel, what year do you think it is?

Well, when we got texts on the phones, they told us that the year was 2026 -- that's the same year I'm from.

And I am from the 1800s. This is nearly 200 years in the future for me.

[Luca opens his wallet and pulls out a folded piece of paper, which he shows to Asuna. It's his work papers, which have 'valid through' date of a time in the 1860s. They look like they've been folded up in his wallet for a couple years, but they definitely don't look hundreds of years old.]

Legal documents are enough for proof, yes?

... Oh. [ She stares pretty hard at the paper, before nodding. ]

Yeah. That's definitely proof enough for me.

[With a nod, he returns his papers to his wallet. He will be needing those, if he makes it out of this game alive.]

I imagine everyone here has some sort of documentation to prove who they are and what year it is. We could probably figure out who is from 2026, and who is from another time entirely pretty quickly.

I think some of the detectives are from that time as well. Mr. Gumshoe and Mr. Fullbright, I believe?

And I think the Inspector said he was from this time as well, though not this location.

I'm from not from this location, either-- or this country, since I'm actually from Japan.

[Another country Luca has not heard of. But he just smiles and rolls with it.]
