[ Rise and shine, sleepy campers! You've managed to survive the night in a haunted (???) mansion where a murder just occurred. Are you sure you got some sleep? Probably not. Oh well! Who cares about sleep when



there's been another murder in the kitchen: Winston Payne. Stabbed in the gut with a kitchen knife. Ow... that must have been painful. . . If investigated, one will find that Pearl Fey's name written in the guy's blood on the nice clean kitchen tiles, with the man's right hand.

What's more, when you look up from the body, a Proto Badger will be looking straight at you. ]

Trial happen soon. Prepare.

[ And with a blink of an eye, he disappears. Though you can still see the badger in any reflective surfaces, looking at you. You're free to talk to him if you want to! ]

[Phoenix didn't notice him until he spoke up, and then he turned to face him.

That glare! Don't tell me he's been moonlighting with Edgeworth...]

I know. [He states plainly and simply, with a nod of his head.]

It's the others who will need to be convinced.

Then we'll have to find some evidence to prove her innocence. [He just said we.]

You heard about a trial, right? [He wasn't just hearing things, right?]

I heard it, alright. Whatever kind of sick mystery is going on here, we'll have to defend Pearl from it.

Let's figure out what evidence we can gather.

[He nods. There was still this awkward tension between them, but Apollo realized that he needed to set aside his differences and focus on the now. HAT-2 bombing case would have to wait, Pearls was in trouble and he should work with Wright to figure this out. Athena on the other hand...he'll work that out when the time came.]

At least we have a body we can examine. [He walked over to Wright, being careful not to disturb the scene.] Have the police already put together an autopsy report?

[At least on Phoenix's part, he was perfectly ready to accept and work with Apollo again. He had been hoping that the boy would work through his problems and return to them; this was close enough.]

No such luck. I haven't seen any police around beyond the very few that have been here since the party. So, as far as I know, no report has been put together.

[He gives Apollo a serious look.]

It looks like we're on our own for this one, Apollo.
