Give yourself more credit. It must take some measure of effort to put together such horrendous attire.

H-hey... It's not that bad, is it? [Aside from the horrible reminder of his past with Dahlia, which is somewhat balanced out by what he knows about Iris, he doesn't really have much against the sweater...]

Well, let us say I am simply grateful you do not wear it to court. I might have laughed myself out of the courthouse, if confronted with such a gaudy attorney.

[If you looked in the mirror, you'd see the prime reason why the courtroom could use some more color!

But he gets more serious when contemplating the vote. He goes on a little shakily- it's a little uncomfortable talking about the vote directly to one of the potential victims' faces.]
