[Once they're out in the hall, Yanni lets go of Phoenix's sleeve, yet he keeps his back facing the other man.]

I talked to the badger a while ago. Still remember it an' all.

Y-you did, huh? [He asks tentatively.]

Hear... anything interesting?

[Wow you sound like he's going to hit you with a fire extinguisher or something]

He told me a pink lady mighta left that note card in the room, but not the Dahlia lady. Somethin' about a hat, a cross, and a... an injection or somethin'?

What ya make of that?

[That sounds... unusually helpful. At the same time, Phoenix does have to remind himself that Yanni's usual helplessness is just an act. ...With all the people who've lost, he must finally be at the point of starting to take matters into his own hands.]

A 'pink lady'? I wonder if that could have something to do with the so-called Pink Badger. But the rest of the description sounds more like a nurse. The cross is a symbol of the medical field, they often wear hats, and- and they give injections to patients.

[But if there's a nurse involved, why isn't she... you know, stopping this guy from holding deadly games?]

I thoughta somethin' like that. Dunno about no Pink Badger, though... [Though that does answer a thing for him, he guesses. Maybe the Pink Badger is the nurse here?]

Um, I think he told me somethin' else, too. That date on the card... that's when the, er... white walls started. The Blue and Bad Badgers put him in there.

So... so it all happened on that day... [He looks down pensively and then looks back at Yogi.

It's risky, but... if there's anyone here who knows the most about that day, it's him.]

Do you think there's a chance that you might have... met this person?

[... It doesn't really matter now, does it? That alone tells him that Phoenix has some idea that he's got something to do with that date.]

... I dunno.

[And he means that. He can't think of anyone else from that date who'd be the Proto Badger. Robert Hammond? Went on in his cushy, selfish life, made famous from the DL-6 case, the only one who really got away with any semblance of happiness. Yanni made sure to end that just a few days ago.

Miles Edgeworth? He's sure he's fine too, now that he's a cushy prosecutor. Gregory? Dead. Misty Fey? Missing. Those were all the ones who were prevalent in his memory, at least.]

I really don't know... Wright.

[He was almost ready to pass that off as part of his act. But then he finishes his sentence. Wright.

He's not completely sure what to expect from him, but Phoenix tenses up all the same.]

So you do remember who I am, after all...

Sorta. I mighta heard your name a few times.

[A few times here, specifically. But he remembers back at home, too, a lawyer actually taking up the case against Edgeworth. A man named Phoenix Wright. Last he heard, his testimony would be pushed back because another witness came forward, all part of the plan...

In a way, that makes Wright something of an enemy back home.

Doesn't really matter here, though.]

[He pauses thoughtfully.

It's hard to tell if he has memory issues like some of the others or if he's just playing with me.]

I see. And that's all you remember, Mr. Yogi?

... Ayup. That's all I remember.

[It's about all the Badger would tell him. He probably should've asked more...]

I see. [And now he has another moment of hesitation, before he continues.]

Well... thank you for everything you told me. Now might not be the best time, but if you ever want to discuss... er, the past... I'm here.

[...] I appreciate it, Mr. Wright. But there's nothing to discuss.

[Yanni just wants it to be done at this point. He wants nothing more to do with it, even if the case haunts him still. He did his part, now he wants to just... stop fighting this whole thing for a while.]
