GAME 2 - DAY 1

[ You stir awake on the cold floor, and find yourself in a REALLY CROWDED dressing room with some other people. They may be strangers, they may be people you know, but then you wonder, where are you?

Then it hits you. The last thing that happened before waking up was that you found a message in a bottle. You read the note, blinked once, and someone behind you hit you in the head. You fell to the floor, but that was it. That was all you remember. You must have passed out, and now you're here. Wherever here is.

The room is what it is. It seems to have been a murder scene. Who was murdered, no one knows. Try not to destroy the crime scene, would you? There's only a couple of drops of blood by the outline - and that's a really huge outline, the guy must be at least 6 feet tall. A tile from the floor is missing. Well, whatever. Is that really important? (No, it's not! Not at the moment, anyway…) What may be of importance (?!?!?!?!) is the note written in lipstick on the mirror. It reads: MAKE FRIENDS.

If you exit the dressing room, you'll find yourself in a hallway. There's another room next to the one you came from, but it's locked. There's some noise coming from inside, though… If you put your ear to the door, you may hear a possibly familiar song. But you might even check that out later, because right on the wall in front of you hang twelve square mirrors - about twelve inches in length, and eight in width. Each mirror will reflect only one specific person, no matter how many people are standing in front of it. (Eg. if Person A stands in front of Mirror A, he'll see himself. If he stands in front of Mirror B, he won't see any reflection at all.)

Upon looking at your mirror, you'll find someone behind you. Before you could even react, you hear the words "find wolves, keep secrets" whispered in your ear like an itchy and spine tingling thing. If you look back, the beautiful creature is gone. Its reflection is gone, too.

And when the badger disappears, you'll feel something heavy in your pocket. Pull it out, and you get a Nokia 3210. It's a pretty bulky and heavy device, but hey. It's a cellphone. Although… there are only four features to the phone: Rules, Vote, Calculator, and Snake.

If you check out the vote feature, you'll find a list of names. It seems you can only choose just one pair of names. Once someone votes on it, the bar right below their name grows longer, and you can see how many people voted on it. Everyone should know who their partner is from this list alone.

Welcome to (one part of) the Sunshine Coliseum! The broom closet is locked, and so is the room with the red light. Don't go there, Roxanne. If you head to the stage, you can play with the instruments. Feel free to chill out in the audience area. The chairs are very comfortable to sit on. There isn't much to do, but one should be crafty enough to find means of entertainment. This is game, after all.

Lastly, YOU HAVE NO MONEY TO BUY ANYTHING IN THE VENDING MACHINE. (It has soda and potato chips, by the way. Please don't steal anything...! Or you can. You know. Whatever. It's not like there are cops around!) ]

Regarding pets/items: SURE GO AHEAD AND HAVE YOUR CHARACTER BRING THEM. If it's a magical item, then it will NOT work.

Hurting other characters is fine, but please ping @sytry on plurk if and when your character tries to kill somebody, or beat them up senseless. There will be an IC punishment for something like this, and they also can't kill anybody, so!!!

[ dandy has woken up in a plethora of different places before - said places have varied from strangers' beds to new planets. however, never had dandy ever woken up, fully dressed in his space suit and helmet to boot, in a cramped... dressing room(?) with at least 10 other people and...

a horse.

he hasn't seen one of those in a while. anyway, once he gets over the initial surprise, he'll lazily mosey his way out of the room unless someone addresses him. he's kind of a heavy sleeper, so he was probably one of the last people to wake up.

the phone was nothing new to him, and in fact was quite ancient. he plays a few games of snake, looking quite bored, while leaning against the wall next to the dressing room's door before once again heading off (not too far though).

he can next be found staring in the mirror that shows his own reflection, helmet in hand. the free hand? it's smoothing back his pompadour. he's winking at the mirror. in a 'seductive' (an attempt was made) voice, he begins to speak. ]

A whole night of crazy and the 'do is still pomping it's 'dour. Too bad there's no chicks here... What a waste, baby.

[Hello, yes Dandy, please excuse the stern voice coming from behind you.]

I fail to see how. The horse is more than enough. We haven't room to make a farm of this place.

[That's what he means by chicks, surely.]

[ he makes a tiny scoffing noise before swiveling around to face lucina, still with that stupid grin on his face. he thinks it's a joke at first, but then he sees her expression and he knows she's actually being serious. after that his own expression kind of dissipates. ]

The chicks! You know, the ladies? [ then he makes 2 circles over his chest and waggles his eyebrows. he hopes his lovely example helped clear things up for her. ] No kind of comfort will ever come close to a woman's bouncing booty in dire times like these. [ another wink, for good measure. ]

[yeahscience]

...Jesus Christ, dude. I'm not exactly like opposed to what you're saying, here, but get some freaking chill.

[He has to intervene. This is just embarrassing.]

It's fine, sir. I have the situation well at hand.

[She discreetly places a hand over the pommel of her sword to punctuate her stated point.]

No, it's not okay.

[Although, uh. Sword. That's pretty... real.]

He can't talk shit to you like that.

I have no intention of letting it pass, I assure you. However, it's a matter I can handle on my own.

[She casts a glance back at Dandy.] It's nothing worth stressing yourself over. I've stared the end of the world in the face, I can handle a single pervert.

[He's not going to lie, he's finding this kind of a turn-on. What can he say? He likes strong women.

Except that he has A: a girlfriend and B: like an iota more self-control than Dandy does, so he just holds up his hands.]

Hey -- whatever you say, yo. Girl power and all that.

...Excuse me?

[Is that really how you talk to any woman, let alone one with a very real sword?

She can barely even come up with a better response to that beyond the angry glare she's currently shooting him.]

In what realm were you taught that it was at all advisable to speak to a woman in such a manner?

[ oh, someone's a grumpy baby... or playing hard to get.

in any case, he wasn't in it to make her upset. but at the same time he's not really the type of guy to console or apologize either, you know? because nothing is ever his fault. ] Look here, kid. Maybe you think you can handle my waves, but let me tell you now that no one can handle this. [ was that related at all to the question she just asked? no... no it wasn't. but maybe his next comment will be relevant. ]

A lady can handle anything a man can.

[She shoots him a glare that only the most brave and most foolish would fail to back down from, and it's clear which one Dandy is.]

Indeed I can, good sir, and doubtless I can handle more than you realize. [read: I've seen pans with less handle than you] However, common decorum dictates you not insult an entire gender to the face of one of its members.

[ maybe she's on her lady cycle or something. they're always kind of moody during that. chicks sure are complicated things. more complicated than any alien he's ever seen. ]

Wait, wait, wait. I think you've got me all wrong. I wasn't insulting anybody here! It's all in good humor baby, no need to break a sweat.

[ Looks like we have a master of the art of prioritization here. Not that Kongwai himself would ever say anything like that. Being antagonistic to random people isn't exactly his shtick and all. ]

Maybe you'll get another opportunity to show it off elsewhere.

You bet I'll find myself one, baby. And even if I don't - the opportunities will flock to me eventually. That's just the Dandy way of life. [ he hasn't yet looked over at kongwai yet - he's too focused on his hair. but once he does he'll realize that kongwai can't be seen in the mirror.

[ And suddenly it hits Kongwai that he could use the mirrors' oddities for a bit of fun. He's not one to pass up a good chance for a harmless joke, so he didn't hesitate to position himself in a way that his appearance would be reflected in a normal mirror. ]

How optimistic. But I suppose we could all use a little more of that right now.

[ Waiting for it... Time to see how much Kongwai needs to poke at him until he notices. ]

[ he's so entranced by his hair that he nods to kongwai's response and then goes into the Dandy Zone. aka "make sure you keep your cool and hair intact even if you sense a disturbance in the force."

it isn't until a complete 5 minutes later that dandy notices kongwai was right next to him. ] Hey! It's called a personal bubble of space for a reason, kid. When'd you get so close, anyway? [ he calls him kid as if he's more than probably like 3 years older than him... ]

[catmagnet]

[ As someone only in his 20s, he's cool with being called a kid if it means he's not being called uncle. Thanks, Her. And wow, it's about time. He was starting to get tired of waiting for a response. ]

Just now actually. I wanted to check this particular mirror too.

[boobily]

Be my guest... [ he says it with a hint of suspicion in his voice. he doesn't trust you, you little shit. and he's not moving either, even if he's right in the center of the mirror. but he will watched kongwai out of the corner of his eye to see his true intentions. ]

[catmagnet]

[ Kongwai will just suppress the urge to snark about Dandy's height before peering into the mirror to see what he already knows. ]

Looks like nothing changed about this one since the last time I checked.

[notaccurate]

[Oh no he's hot.

And a womanizer, going by his words.

Luca takes half-a-second to be disappointed by this turn of events before sighing and rubbing at his temple with his thumb and index finger. He can already feel a headache coming on.]

You do know that horses do not belong inside buildings, correct?

[ turning to face luca, he realizes he's...

ugh, an attractive guy! he hates those! their hot faces always steal his thunder with the ladies. ]

Look, I've seen a lot of things stranger than a horse inside... And this mirror just happens to be one of them, if you didn't notice for yourself, wiseguy. [ actually, he remembers a second later that he saw a lot of strange stuff here. ]

You tellin' me you didn't do any investigating since you woke up here?

Of course I investigated!

[He found out what a tv is!]

I just had not yet reached these mirrors.

[boobily]

Right... [ he squints at luca before grabbing his arm and gently pulling him in front of the mirror next to dandy. ]

Well, while some of us were slacking, why don't you take a look at what the hard worker discovered?

[ and he leaves luca to Investigate while he now begins combing his pomp. ]

Yes, you have discovered a mirror- What the hell is that?!

[He is so shocked by the sudden appearance of the bloody badger and the whispering of things into his ear that he forgets how to English for a moment and slips back into Italian.]

[boobily]

Whoa, whoa, take it easy, baby! No need to babble. [ because he doesn't know what italian is... but now he's being serious, and he looks kind of concerned for this guy. ]

It's a fake. Some trick they're playing on us, huh?
