GAME 2 - DAY 4

[ Considering how there was very little food over the night, one might feel more tired than usual. The night is quiet much like how the day was, and everyone sleeps rather peacefully. The ousted team just disappears without anybody knowing what happened or where they went. Bam. Magic. Their mirrors have also cracked, and so have Grace and Tony's.

Come sunrise - nobody knows when sunrise is, though - there's a clicking sound coming from backstage. Nobody might have been around when it happened, but the other dressing room is now unlocked, and the door is open. "Roxanne" is still blasting through the speaker found in one of the corners of the room, too.

The dressing room is rather messy. Leather jackets on one side of the room, guitars on both corners, and some police uniforms near the speakers. There's a table with udon! It looks delicious, but… wait. It's made of plastic! HOW DARE! On the table are a pair of gloves, sunglasses, some coffee cups with coffee in them, and some postcards of a lady in a blue cloak and some words written in Wingdings-like characters.

There's make-up by the drawers, and some other rockstar paraphernalia in various areas of the room. There doesn' seem to be anything helpful, though.

… or is there?

If one decides to check the dresser, they might find that there's a badger standing behind them. Kind of like what happened on the first day. If one looks back, they won't see the badger, but the badger will be there… in the mirror. Feel free to talk to the creepy thing. It's about time to meet the game's actual host.

No… he talks to the person he sees through the glass, first. It's a rather itchy and hoarse voice, if one can figure it out when there's nothing auditory, anyway. ]

Game will end soon if wolf not oust.

[ Much like how he texts… his sentences are broken.

And once again, the poll has been updated. Check your cellphones! ]

[There's a "never say never" dawning in the back of Cabanela's mind, especially because the belief that Hans and Gina were wolves would basically make Luca's team confirmed sheep, but... Well, nobody is safe in this game either way.]

Ohhh? Confident, aren't you? Let's hope that holds up, baby.

Honestly, both my team and L'Arachel's team are pretty safe right now. The only way either of our teams are going to be in danger is if the wolves decide to screw themselves over.

We have three teams of two left. If we successfully vote out a wolf tonight, then the sheep team from that group of clues will be automatically, beyond a reasonable doubt, a sheep team. They're the ones that will be in danger of being removed by the wolves, not anyone else.

[Hmm... Makes sense. They're basically in the same predicament he thought they were in yesterday, though. Just with a 50/50 chance on either path they take, instead of 50/50 versus 33/33/33.]

If we successfully vote out a wolf tonight. If we don't... I gueeess it really would be game over, today.

Well yes, that much is obvious.

[He still worries though, because regardless of which wolf team they go after, somebody innocent will end up dying at night. Why can't they just take out both wolf teams in one go?]

Who do you think we should focus our efforts on, for today? The first set of teams, or the third?
inspectormacarena: (Coryphée)

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-28 10:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[He throws up both his hands in a faux-defensive manner because, hey, shouldn't that be obvious?]

Baby, Mr. Jesse and myself knooow who the wolf team is in the third set. If our host's threat was legitimate, there's really only one team left it could be. Trouble iiis, it's our word against theirs. Whether you decide to take another leap of faith with us or not is up to you all.

If we're going after the fiiirst set of teams, I've got my suspicions, but nothin' that can be backed up with substantial evidence.

[Translation: If he could choose it'd be the third set, because duh. Still, he's fine with betting everything on the first set because the third would mean he'd be drawn into the ousting asking people to trust him again. After last night he and Jesse might've lost some credibility. It was Fulbright and Gumshoe who started that fight despite Cabanela's warnings, but he takes responsibility for how it ended up.]

[Luca got that idea, at least, which was why.]

Truthfully, I think it is us from the second clue who will be able to nudge people towards one set of clues, since we are essentially confirmed as sheep right now.

But I was also asking because, well...our decision decides who the wolves remove from the game tonight, provided we correctly vote out a wolf team.

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-28 10:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Nooot with a hundred percent certainty, baby. You're assuming the wolves would follow the same logic as you do, but when we're this close to ending the game, they may decide it no longer maaatters.

[He can't deny the logic is there, though, so...] I'll take on whatever risks are thrown my way. We've come this far, so I'm not backing down.
notaccurate: (22)

[personal profile] notaccurate 2015-04-28 11:24 pm (UTC)(link)
If they don't follow the same logic, then they will either make themselves very obvious or end up making two sheep teams very obviously sheep.

[Not...that he would oppose that, by any means, but he feels like the wolves will be playing smart.]

But alright. I'll see if I can get people to focus on the clue you were in.
inspectormacarena: (Allongé)

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-28 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
[If the two teams on his suspicion list are wolves, he seriously doubts they would play smart. Though, he doesn't quite know enough about Diana. She could work as the glue holding that whole thing together.

As for that last bit...]

I wasn't speaking for Mr. Jesse, baby. The risk is something III'm willing to take, but I won't drag my partner down without his permission. You've seen how he gets when he becomes... stressed, so check with him beforehand if you caaan, alright? [Is he worried about Jesse? ...Yeah, a little. They agreed to be partners and watch each other's backs, so that's what Cabanela will do.]

[Oh right, that is a good point.]

I'll go find him first and see what he thinks. Is he feeling better, after last night?
inspectormacarena: (Coryphée)

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-29 12:46 am (UTC)(link)
I haven't seen him up and about yet, I'm afraaaid. If he's still sleeping, it'd be best to leave him for a while longer.

[Yeah he's... definitely sort of daddy-ing now.]

[He SO is daddying, Luca recognizes that kind of behavior. It makes him crack out in a smile again.]

you're worried about him, hmm?
inspectormacarena: (Coupé)

[personal profile] inspectormacarena 2015-04-29 09:32 am (UTC)(link)
[Despite his own smile, there's a very nonchalant wave of the hand.]

What can I saaay? He's a worrisome person.

Only if you let him worry you.

[And oh look at those poll results.]

...hmm. It looks like people were listening to me.

Loooks like it. The way it's going now is ideal, baby. ...At least, when comparing it to myyy suspicions.
