Game 2 - DAY 3
[ After ousting finishes, the bodies of Hans, Gina, York, and Bruce slowly turn into glass, starting from their feet and it works its way up until the glass covers the bodies. A few seconds after looking like a diamond statue, the glass shatters, leaving nothing but the broken pieces on the floor.
THERE CERTAINLY WERE HUMAN BODIES THERE EARLIER. WELL? NOT ANYMORE…!
Right after that, everyone will receive a text saying:
Congratulations on making it to the third day! Please get some rest now, as the game will continue tomorrow.
Had there been no wolf ousted the past two days, you all will be in grave danger as one more mistake would mean the wolves win. Oh no! :(
The poll has been updated. Please make sure to cast your votes on time.
Please remember that the game will be over once the number of remaining sheep is the same as the number of total wolves. That is three!
The twelve mirrors backstage will look pretty strange, too. Four of those mirrors have been broken as well, with only eight mirrors hung properly. If this isn't symbolic, then I don't know what is. Perhaps it would be best to clean the glass shards up. We wouldn't want anybody to get injured, right? And it would be best to get a lot of rest.
The loudspeakers seem to have been turned off now, and even the noise you could hear in the locked dressing room is gone… mysterious. But it's also helpful since you'd want to sleep peacefully at night, right?
Of course you do. Come morning, the stage will have Samurai Dogs YET AGAIN, coffee, Cheerios and milk. Have at it. ]

We'll be going on a break this weekend!

00 EST 27 April: Suspicion poll comes to an end and Ousting poll gets put up.
00 EST 28 April: Ousting poll draws to a close. A new day begins, with two teams out of the game. ]

[At first, for a moment, Lucina is frozen in terror at the sight before her.
Only a moment, though.
Now, she's furious. She instinctively draws her sword and begins shouting out to the audience area.]
Is this your idea of a game?! IS IT?!
[She throws her phone to the ground with her free hand, before hacking the drum set to pieces in a rage. With that gone, she turns back to the audience, pointing Falchion at what must surely be out there.]
I will be party to this farce no longer! Face me in battle, or set us free this instant!
no subject
It will not face you. [For once in her life, L'Arachel is rather subdued—her voice is soft, even, though firm and steady.]
If they are truly dead, this is an ultimate act of cowardice—it was not those ousted our captor had issue with. If it will resort to this, it certainly does not have the honor to face any of us.
All with mod permission
While everyone panics over the glass shards which were once people, Cabanela dashes over to the audience area in the concert hall, pocketwatch in hand. This... This makes no sense. How could the signal be coming from here of all places?
Needless to say, the good inspector spends the rest of the night crawling along between the audience seats, running his hands over the ground as if he's looking for a contact lens or something. That assumption would be sort of correct. It's just not a contact lens he's looking for. He's also keeping an eye on the stage for suspicious activity, but when the time comes for breakfast, he won't get to witness anything at all. The lights go out for a good thirty seconds and when they come back on, the food is just... there.
...Damn it all. He'll grab some coffee and go back to searching the audience area, then. Feel free to catch him crawling along the dirty floor between the seats, either at night or after breakfast's been served. Just beware, come morning he won't have had a good night's sleep in two days and all these dead ends he keeps hitting aren't helping his temper any.]
no subject
What are you looking for?
[He skips right over the 'are you looking for something' question, because it's pretty obvious that he is looking. Whatever it is, it must be important, for this guy to work all night looking for it.]

But after reviewing our information, I believe that only one wolf team has been voted out.
My theory is that since Prince Hans was so quick to vote out Ms. Kelly and Dr. Grey without waiting to see what others would do, that it is very unlikely that both of their teams were wolves.

After managing to get something into her stomach, she decides to stay in a corner of the stage before gesturing her hands to the side, as if she were to grab something that just wasn't there... before sighing. ]
If only I had my rapier, then I-- [ wouldn't be so helpless. But she doesn't voice that thought aloud. Although she's had her cellular phone off for the longest of times to preserve battery, considering the fact that A) they were no longer in Japan and B) she wasn't receiving signal to begin with, she suddenly decides to turn it on, as if she'd get a glimmer of hope that way. She couldn't contact Yui this way, of course, but there was always something that relieved her in her time of trouble.
And that was the sound of a young boy's heart beating that she could hear over the soft speakers of her phone. While she couldn't contact him (he was in the hospital, after all) the sound itself gave her a strange sense of comfort, causing her to close her eyes in relaxation before murmuring to herself aloud, worriedly; ] Kirito-kun... What do you think I should do?
[ She's not really in a mood to be bothered right now, being completely wary of her surroundings, but the fact that's she's a little distracted mean that anybody who walks manages to speak up to her or briefly touch her might just spook the young woman. ]
CLUE
Hello again! It seems we have caused a misunderstanding. The two teams that have been taken out of the game have not been "murdered", as one would say. They are currently watching from the balcony Say hello! [ You can't see that part of the coliseum, though. It's pitch black. But, seeing that Cabanela put some tracking thing on Hans, he's able to get signals where the balcony is. ]
This will be the last clue we will provide. This is called the "safe sheep" clue, in which the only team we will state is actually a sheep.
Grace Makutsi and Tony Chu are sheep. We do not lie!

Myself-- Detective Bobby Fulbright and Detective Dick Gumshoe,
Inspector Cabanela and Mr. Pinkman,
and Ms. Diana and Mr. Dandy.

It isn't the worst thing she's seen, but it may be close to the most surreal, and up there among the most surprising—what sort of magic could possibly be responsible for this? And after an insistence that no one would be killed, why—
But she knows why. They can't enact their plan this way—they've been caught.
She's about a million different kinds of mad, but L'Arachel doesn't, surprise of all surprises, act out immediately. For a few moments, she doesn't move but to lower her hand and clench her other fist around her staff, and stares at the pile of glass, her expression stony.
She won't allow herself to be intimidated. With a soft huff, she spins around on her heel and marches off to attempt something resembling damage control for the others.
Come nighttime, she proceeds with the watch as planned; she's far from as optimistic about their potential for success as she had been when arranging the idea, but the blackout too short for her to even collect her bearings frustrates her no less for it. One second, nothing, the next, food, and tiny reflective shards of glass at the table's feet.
In the morning L'Arachel can be found slumped at the breakfast table in a decidedly unprincesslike fashion. In one hand, she holds one of the mirror fragments between two fingers and squints at it like she expects to find something. With the other hand, she keeps trying to eat a bowl of dry cereal, but for the most part she keeps hitting parts of her face that aren't her mouth with the spoon and trying to play it off like nothing.
As always, her horse is just kinda, y'know, hanging out, and L'Arachel is way too tired to even pretend to deal with whoever's food the horse is gonna try eating today (everyone's).]

So, I had a thought. If you don't mind my asking, could everyone possibly answer a couple questions?
One: Can you do magic? And if you answered 'yes' to that, have you tried to do it while you have been here?
[He doesn't expect everyone to be honest, but he is hoping for at least one honest answer, so he can figure something out.]

Discuss things and stuff!
He'll speak up when there's as many people as possible in the room. Hopefully everyone.]
Listen up, gaaang! Things are about to get serious and the way I'm seein' it, we can't afford to make any more mistakes. If we oust another team of our own, we might as well hand this game to the wolves on a silver plaaatter. Even our host agrees with that.
Let's talk statistics, shaaall we? [This would work so much better if he had a white board or something, but alas. Everyone will just have to visualize inside their heads.] We've got several options here. The first is to act on today's clue. Like Shades said, now that we have our confirmed team, there's three more left, one of whom would be big bad wolves. That means we've got a 33% chance of nabbing 'em. Still with me so far?
Another option that we have is to revisit eeearlier oustings and see where we went wrong. Seems highly unlikely that both teams who got voted out were wolves, but we must've gotten it right at least once. If you want my opinion, I'd say that was our Prince of the Southern Isles and his lady partner. Bearing in mind how fast he was to throw accusations around and who were the recipients, that'd just prooove we got the wrong team on the first night. Which would leave two teams of that first clue, one of whom is hiding some nasty fangs. Chances of catching 'em if we act on that? 50%. Assuming you all agree that Prince Hans and Miss Gina were wolves, of cooourse.
[He snaps his fingers, then stretches out his arm.] Do me a favor, yeah babies? Don't blindly start following other people's votes and think for yourselves. You got suspicions? Throw 'em out there and discuss. People turned to glass yesterday and our host's insubstantial claims asiiide, I will be disappointed in anyone who takes that lightly.
